ABOUT THE FACULTY

Our Purpose

The Land, The Environment, and the Science That Sustains Them.

Africa feeds the world, yet much of its agricultural potential remains underdeveloped, and its environmental resources remain under-protected. The Faculty of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences at Ruona University exists to change that, by producing graduates with scientific knowledge, practical skills, and policy understanding to drive sustainable development across the continent.

This faculty is for students who understand that the future of Africa is inseparable from the health of its land, its water, its ecosystems, and its food systems and who are prepared to build that future through rigorous academic study and purposeful professional practice.

WHY STUDY

The Future of Agriculture Starts Here

Sustainable Agricultural Practice

Hands-on training in sustainable land management and modern agribusiness prepares you for the realities of African farming systems.

Faculty of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences

Environmental Stewardship

Coursework grounded in environmental policy and conservation equips graduates to protect the ecosystems Africa depends on.

Food Security Focus

Every programme connects back to the continent's most pressing challenge: producing enough food, sustainably, for a growing population.

Applied Research

Students engage in practical, field-based research rather than theory alone, working directly with real agricultural and environmental data.
